‘Hybrids’ is a series of visual experiments that explore the rich territory between disciplines. Each piece is constructed from cut paper but are also painted and dipped – they are flat but like rilievo, cast shadows. Their identity shifts depending on how the pieces are hung and the environment in which they are exhibited. All the pieces are black and white, mixed media and within the dimensions 35cms x 48cms.
